Gray Heron | Dr. Thomas Edwin Pryce Tannatt from "How to Dress Salmon Flies" 1914 | This is a great fall steelhead pattern with a contrasting yellow butt and dark body.There seems to be little known about the Gray Heron, other than it could have been inspired by the classic Jock Scott as their body colouring is similar.
